Cookie and browser storage policy

This policy describes the storage used by Omer Insight. We currently use essential storage only. You can reopen Cookie settings at any time.

What is stored

aethon_sid / aethon_admin_sidPublisher sign-in: session cookie; the server session expires after 12 hours, or after 30 days when Remember me is selected. Administrator sign-in expires after 8 hours.
NEXT_LOCALELanguage preference: NEXT_LOCALE is a session cookie used to remember the website language.
omer_privacy_preferencesomer_privacy_preferences is stored in localStorage for up to 180 days, with the policy version, choice and time. It contains no user ID. Choices are separate for each browser and site origin; embedded walls may have partitioned or blocked storage.

Only essential storage is currently used. Accepting all does not authorize future tracking. If we introduce optional purposes, we will request a new choice before enabling them.

Survey partners

Our survey partners are CPX Research and PrimeSurvey (Prime Earn). When a survey wall loads, our server sends enabled partners the user identifier, IP address and browser information to match surveys. CPX may also receive publisher-supplied tracking references.

Third-party processing

Survey answers are collected on partner survey pages. Those pages may use their own cookies or other technologies under their privacy policies. An Omer Insight cookie choice is not consent for a partner website. Where required, review and make a separate choice there. Browser cookie settings do not prevent server-to-server survey matching, transaction recording or security checks.

We use Resend to send account and support emails. When configured, IP security checks send the IP address to IPQualityScore, Scamalytics or proxycheck.io. These server operations are distinct from optional browser tracking.

Changing your choice

Use Cookie settings to review or replace your choice. Deleting site storage removes the saved choice and may sign you out. We ask again after 180 days or when the policy version changes. Refusing non-essential storage does not prevent sign-in or use of core site features.
